The towns of Moraira and Teulada could not be more diverse. Moraira is very much a quiet, fairly up-market holiday resort, while Teulada, its inland sister, is a typical, moderately busy Spanish market town. At the bottom of the cobbled main street of Moraira, you can find a rather exclusive marina with some pretty expensive craft, a small fishing harbour and to the right of the restored mediaeval tower, a beautiful sandy beach. The coast road between Moraira and Calpe beholds some of the most spectacular scenery of the area as it winds its way around the cliffs and coves.

To the left of Moraira the road takes you to the beautiful small bay of El Portet.

Teulada itself is typical of the area with narrow streets, small quiet squares and amazing mediaeval stone architecture.
